Hey there, I’m John
I’m a product manager and designer with over 20 years of experience building products from the ground up. From the first sketch to a live, working system with real users. My background is in UX and product design, but what I actually do is take a problem, figure out the right product to solve it, and see it through to something people can use. I’ve done that across fintech, commodity marketplaces, compliance systems, real estate, and media. Usually as the person responsible for both the thinking and the making.
I’m based in Miami, and most of my recent work has been in cross-border markets. I don’t just design products. I conceptualize them, lock up the IP, build the business case, coordinate development, and iterate based on real user feedback.
What I’m looking for is a team that needs someone who can own the product end to end, strategy through execution, and doesn’t want to manage the gap between a PM and a designer. That gap is where most early-stage products break. Closing it is what I do.
I am currently an intermediate Spanish speaker (y mejor todos los dias). When I’m away from the computer, I love traveling, cooking, drawing, woodworking, free diving, hiking, cycling, and watching Formula 1 racing.
